assingment 2

I have a rather large family because my parents are divorced and so I have a combined family. I did not grow up with my step-siblings because they were old enough to move out when my step father and mom moved in together. However, I grew up with two older brothers and a younger sister. I have a lot of similarities with both brothers. My brother Kurt is the 2nd oldest brother and many people believe Kurt and I are very similar. We are both bigger guys and we have a good sense of humor. We are always cracking jokes at family get gatherings. We both love sports and love to go to sporting events. There are a few differences though with Kurt and I. I was always active in sports and like to play sports. I also participated in musical theatre and was involved in musicals and play. Kurt never could play sports or theatre. He was in clubs like debate and DECA. Those kinds of things did not interest me. Kurt is one of those brilliant people. He cannot study for a test and still get an A on it. He has always been like that and so he used his knowledge and put it to use for the clubs he was in. I however am a person that has to work really hard for and A and I was kind of a natural at sports and theatre so we both used the talents we were given. My other brother Luke and I have a lot of similarities as well, but many people do not see these similarities. Luke is my oldest brother we love to fish and hunt. My whole life I spent a lot of time with Luke outdoors fishing, hunting, or just target shooting. On the other hand Luke was very shy and did not make friends easily which is different than me because I am outgoing and love to meet new people. I believe Luke and I got into hunting and playing sports because our dad was really involved in those activities. Kurt on the other hand did not have as good of a relationship with our dad as Luke and I did. Kurt was closer to our mom and she was more intellectual that our father so I think growing up Luke and I were similar because we shared the same interests. But after growing up a little I realized that Kurt and I had just as many similarities as Luke and I. Growing up with two older brothers I think it benefited me because my brothers both had different cognitive abilities and interests and that allowed me to be similar to both of them and share the same interests. I believe that made me the person I am today.
