assignment 3

I consider myself to be in the sixth stage of Erikson's stages of development, which is intimacy vs. isolation. I am in this stage because I am looking for someone to have a love relationship. I want someone to enjoy my time with; also, someone to come home to after work. The stage that has been the most influential to my development is identity vs. identity confusion. I believe this is the most important because I have been able to establish a strong sense of self. I know who I am and what I want from life. This stage has helped me make the choices in my life that has lead me to where I am today.

I liked your post because it explained (better than my blog) the positive aspect that the identity vs. identity confusion stage can have on an person-that once you overcome this stage you have a clear understanding and acceptance of yourself. This is good because one of the most important things in the world is to know thyself.
