assignment 3
looking at Erikson's stages of development i would say that i am in the Intimacy and isolation. I believe that i am at this stage right now because i am looking for someone to spend my time with. I have never eally had a serious relationship and if it was it lasted about 4 months. I do look to the future and realize that i will be getting a real job in about 2 years and might just be looking for someone to settle down with. I believe that the stages that i have completed have helped me out alot. like identity and identity confusion, i believe that i had to find myself before i could find what i am looking for. that is a very important stage in Erikson's stages.

Sometimes I can’t believe that people in my cohort and I are starting to look for a mate and talking about settling down. I have had the same thoughts about getting a real job and wanting to start a family with someone. It feels so wired to hear people say that and be saying it myself.
I agree with you completely. Every stage you go through in Erikson’s stages you find yourself and you learn more about yourself as you go through them. All these stages are different building blocks in life to help you find out what you want out of life.
I know what it is like to be searching for someone to be with. It's not easy most of the time and it definately provides some interesting situations, lol. The building blocks of life are defined in these stages. The decisions we make shape us little by little.
