assignment 5
Piaget't theory has a lot to do with the environment. He has six stages that infants go through. First stage they learn from themselves. In stage three they start to interact with people and start to realize what things do. For example they realize that a rattle makes noise. The final stage they start to anticipate and solve simple problems using mental combinations. There are three theories and how infants are taught these things: infants are taught, infants teach themselves, and then social impulses foster infant language. Some researchers might have a problem with parents starting to put pressure on their children so early about their cognitive development, and also that they might be pushing the infants to hard.

I agree parents will tend to push their children too hard. Unfortunately, this can cause the complete opposite effect of the intentions and cause more harm than good upon the child's development.
I liked how you said researchers might be "pushing" infants too hard. It does make sense that stressing the infant could be problematic, however one does want to assist thier leaning in all ways possible. This means there must be a middle ground parents can hopefully learn to tight-rope for the benifit of their child.
I like how you said parents tend to push their children to hard. Parents often think that pushing their child to the best of their abilities is never a bad thing. Sometimes children feel to much pressure and can turn into a bad side effect.
I agree that sometimes parents try to puch their children to hard. Parents who want to try to teach their 3 month old how to read might need to backoff a little bit and let the baby be a baby.
It is easy for parents to push their children to hard. It make sense on one hand on does not on the other. Many parents do not realize their "pushing" can actually be harmful to their child's development. Because they do not know its harmful they push their child to learn how to walk, and talk faster thinking it will make their child smarter.
