Research Project

I would like to do a study on children that are “spanked” for punishment and those who are not. My hypothesis would be that they would experience more built up anger and later in life repeat the same actions. I would use a longitudinal study on groups of early childhood ages 2-4. I would then follow them up until high school age documenting their behavior. The independent variable for this study would be the children that were spanked. The dependent variable would be the attitudes and behavior. I would also have a group of children that were my control group from families that didn’t spank.
