I am interested in seeing the effects of parental childing raising on young girls with eating disorders. My hypothesis would be that young girls raised in an authoritarian setting are more likely to develop an eating disorder than other girls who are not. The independent variable is the parenting style and the dependent variable is if the young girls develop or have an eating disorder. This would most likely be done in a survey, or a longitudinal experiment.

This would be an interesting study. When it comes to eating disorders many people think its because of other reasons. I think it would be good to do a study and see if parenting styles have an affect on eating disorders

That's a interesting thought, I never would of guessed that but it makes sense. Most the time when people have eating disorders its because of low self-estem and rejection. I would really like to see if that would be a factor to.
